The Mega-Mystery Experience

World-renowned artist Meg Saligman has been at the forefront of public art since 1995 in Philadelphia, the world's mural capital. Now, Saligman and Eric the Puzzler invite you to explore her real, working studio space and go behind the scenes to see how Philadelphia's most iconic murals were created.

But take note: this is no ordinary open studio visit. It’s a cooperative puzzle adventure that plunges you into Saligman's storied career in large-scale public art.

By piecing together archival materials from Meg’s most influential projects, you’ll discover clues that guide you throughout her studio in the historic SugarMom's bar in Old City, Philadelphia. Will you and your teammates reach the surreal conclusion and unlock the next phase of Meg’s creative career? Perhaps you’ve been a part of it the entire time...

How to participate:

Find a good time for your group (of 4–8 people), then book your experience! All bookings are private—your group will be the only people participating during your time slot. A waiver is required to participate.

Access:

Look for the orange door just to the right of the building’s main entrance. Clear signage will be in place to guide you to the right spot.

Accessibility information:

This experience is hosted in a space that can only be accessed by descending a flight of stairs. During the experience, you may have to walk across uneven surfaces, reach above your head, and operate in low-light conditions. This experience may not be enjoyable for children under 14. Please reach out with any questions!

Please Note:

All participants will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival. This is to acknowledge that parts of the experience may involve physical activity, including standing on chairs or step stools. Safety is our top priority, and the waiver ensures everyone understands and accepts these elements in advance.
